It takes time to get my hands on things. At the far corner of Shanghai (Where's Baoshan? I have the worst sense of directions so please excuse me) there's also a bar more underground than Logo, Shelter, C's, YYT, Zhijiang Dream Factory...where you normally go for weekend's gigs: Shanghai 021 Bar. It's so under-ground that I thought it might just be under-water. The website is all in Chinese, I suppose it means the population should be quite local then. My eyes sparkle with joy ,would be worth another adventure, one day.
021 i think the boss s name is guanghui , four years ago he had a band with yannick called old street. and yannick s another jazz band played there four years ago. but we have not seen this guy for a long time . it is so nice that you know this bar. because of the location ,not so many people know. but the line 4 goes around i think.

ReplyDeleteis located far from the centre i think it is in yang pu area. the boss is cool ,he even went to our wedding !!! a very nice place but so far , my father also went there too. cool man hmmmm..??
