Winter is almost here. It's in the air, the wind, the trees, the temperature of people's faces. I get more and more sleepy as Glasgow's precious day light shortens and the night prolongs.
From time to time Glasgow awes me. Up in the north, Glasgow, such a small scaled city of 620,000 population has become the financial centre of Scotland, being the home to many nationalities - Polish, Indian, Italian, etc, while all ethnic groups seem to live their own way of life. If you are an Indian, you might even find your community centre to worship your god. In the day time the golden Z of city centre is so quiet whereas at night it becomes another world. Glasgow is a party town, every westerner says so. However, judging from the size, design, music, I'm not so sure how to come up to their opinion. This is indeed an interesting subject to study. It seems to me that while the western cities don't necessarily 'wow' us any more, the east becomes more of an increasily growing pleasure ground.
Am I going to be ok with Glasgow? Time will tell. Although life is not about the result but the process. I hope the good process will bring good result. To live a real independent life, I have to be stronger.
